I've seen an increase in articles and videos about quadcopter and other multirotor racing recently. It's a cool idea and looks like a lot of fun, and brilliant for developing flying skills. What's more, the quadcopters are usually pretty small and relatively inexpensive, often built from cheap parts from places like Hobby King and Good Luck Buy with budget flight controllers such as KK2, Arducopter, Multiwii etc. FPV technology coupled with these agile flying machines make for a unique and thrilling experience.
