It's for a new camera for the Inspire I think, the Zenmuse X5. A variable aperture camera that should take great photographs and some pretty epic video. Heavier than the current camera so flight time is sacrificed. It's a prime lens, i.e. no zoom, rumoured to be a Panasonic LUMIX G Leica DG 15mm f/1.7 or similar. Futher speculation includes: 16 mega pixels four thirds sensor Video formats: MOV/MP4 and AVCHD 3840x2160 @ 24fps/25fps/30fps 4096x2160 @ 24fps 2880x2160 @ 24fps/25fps/30fps 1920x1920 @ 24fps/25fps/30fps 1920x1440 @ 24fps/25fps/30fps 1920x1080 @ 24fps/25fps/30fps/50fps/60fps 1280x720 @ 50fps/60fps/240fps 848x480 @ 25fps/30fps Guess we'll know for sure in a few hours.
The quality of picture should be amazing but at a price, if the base model is £1800 then I'd imagine the X5R will probably be around the £2500+. and even more(£3k) with a Leica lens.
