Hello,
Fortress built between the twelfth and fourteenth centuries on the western edge of the county Forez. After six centuries in the same family ,the castle sold in 1766. The turmoil the Revolution transformed the castle into stone quarry, where everyone uses at will and inexorable degradation begins.
The castle is supported from 1979 by The Association for Renaissance d'Urfé , which attempts from there to revive the spirit of a place marked by time .
