There's a program out there called OpenDroneMap which is FREE but I'm not really sure how to use it. I am/was going to make a compilation video of all these 'progress' videos to show this structure go from the ground up!
Sorry I have not posted any videos lately. The weather on my side of the planet has just been awful! Windy, rainy, cloudy, snowy, KP index! And I may have been here:
You know, I’ve never paid much attention to kp index? Have you ever noticed any difference with a less than favourable reading?
I have never flown with a KP Index over 5. I heeded warnings, and thus, never attempted. Why temp fate? Here's another flight over the same two schools. Yeah, it's easy to get to (I just walk to the VTOL location) and my audience seems to like these flights!
I know I mentioned it before, but it looks so different with the trees like that, less wildernessy. I guess it will be turning green again soon?
I should have flown a few days ago, Mother Nature dumped 6 inches (15 centimeters) of snow on us! But I didn't really want to make the hike in the snow. (Told you I was lazy!)
Here's another flight! Same neighborhood, but different VToL location. Gives a different aspect, even though not much further from my typical launch sites.
Where's Mystery been? And now you know why I have not been flying lately. Flying a drone in Cuba is illegal! And it's law says: JAIL TIME!
I'll be cruising your part of the planet at the end of this month! I'll be starting my adventure in Amsterdam, Holland and then my first stop will be Edinburgh, Scotland. Then onward to Iverness, Scotland. And then Greenock, Scotland. Dublin, Ireland. Holyhead, Wales. Cork, Ireland. St Peter Port, Channel Islands. And Dover, England before returning to Amsterdam, Holland ! I am really excited to see your side of the planet.
Weather has been horrible in my neck of the woods. It's rained for 40 days and 40 nights. Forget an "Ark". I'll board a Cruise Ship! Nice to see your side!
I was contacted by the Architect/Project Manager, Scott Eschbach, regarding these videos. He loves them, was amazed by the video quality of the Inspire 1. Here's my latest fly-by: He wishes to share them with his Firm and peers to "show off" his skills.
Nice, you could do point of interest over the middle of the roof then fly around it in a perfect circle?
Was going to do that on a non-windy day! When I can safely "unleash" * the Inspire 1. * I mean let her "go" without GPS. You get spoiled with such. I remember how difficult it was to keep the Parrot AR in place during a slight breeze!
Okay, I did it. I let the Inspire 1 off her "leash" ! Was a beautiful day with only 3 mile per hour (4.8 kilometers per hour) wind gusts. It's the first day of school. Welcome teachers and students!
