Just flying around my hometown. Here are my latest videos!

I don't claim to be a professional, I'm just an enthusiast looking to have a good time!

All nice views, thanks for sharing. The only thing I would say is perhaps not fly so close to the interstate, or over busy highways. I know there's no official FAA regs yet, but you'd still be in a heap of trouble if you crashed into a car on there. I don't mean you'll crash it yourself, but if a motor or propeller fails it could be a bit of a nightmare. It's good practice to imagine where it will crash if it goes wrong. :)

Thanks for your input. I am a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics, and carry a quarter-million dollar insurance policy, I don't plan on 'testing' my coverage. But it's there in the unlikely event something does happen.

I understand that everything that flies can and will eventually crash. And most likely not in the predictable course we expect.

For that reason I don't fly over busy roadways or highways. I have taken video of Interstate Highways, but never fly over them.

In this video, I got stupidly close to an Interstate highway, in hindsight, I really should have been further away. But again, I don't fly over Interstates. And never over crowds of people!

And in this video, again, got close, but never fly over. This is one of my most "liked" videos.

    Enjoy!

Thanks Jonathan. Did I see you're in York, Pennsylvania? Beautiful countryside you have there. I'm in Cumberland, Maryland. We're not too far geographically from one another!

No, we're in York, England, as in the UK not New England. Do have family in NYC though. :)

I would be honored. But England is a rather large landmass. Was thinking of hitting up London (of course) and ending up in Southampton. Looks like York is quite a ways off. If I can arrange it, a road trip would be awesome!

It's only 1hr 50mins on the train from London to York. We had a guy visit us from London, build a drone and go fly it then go back to London all in the same day earlier this year. :)

Two hours by train? It's nearly four hours by car! Your rail system is much more efficient than it is here in the States. May be do-able. I'll let you know when I plan to hit the U.K.

    FINALLY!
A day that it wasn't windy, rainy, cloudy, or just plain nasty....

And thanks to the encouragement and experience of Drone Minds, I (nervously) flew over water!

Thanks! The weather here in the Mid-Atlantic states has been probably the same as it is there in the U.K. Miserable!
Was nice to finally get a nice day to fly!
