In this video I first talk about my new Gopro 3 filter, a CP (circular polarizing) filter that helps cut down on glare and reflected light on shiny surfaces, such as water and windows. I bought the filter from polarprofilters.com, which with postage came to about 30 quid. You can see how the filter works in the video, but I will say it’s a quality item that fits nice and snugly over the Gopro 3 lens with no chance of falling off in flight. Spofforth Castle is located about halfway between Wetherby and Harrogate in North Yorkshire in Spofforth. It’s somewhere I’ve been meaning to look at for a while as I used to drive past it all the time with a guy called Rich who no longer hangs around with me. However, you can’t really see it from the road so I never got a proper look at it. It turns out it’s actually the ruins of a 14/15th century fortified manor and the major part of the remains are what is left of the banquet hall.
I quite like the format of this video, great work Jonathan! Having the informational section at the beginning and then some aerial footage at the end was quite nice Have you got any more like this planned?
Yeah, bit of general waffle - rc flying opening intro - more precise waffling. Seriously though, yes I like it too. I will do them all like that in future, short (usually) menu at the start followed by intro then main video. I was thinking of asking for video requests at some point, but not sure there's enough subscribers yet to get a response.
