How do you guys keep everything legal in terms of not upsetting the authorities? Pretty big topic at the moment with the Heathrow crash

Just come acrossAltitude Angel who have created a new map apparently, really slow though: http://www.pressat.co.uk/releases/n...-skies-safe-9db8047f736144b48795b2a782eaa9dd/

I cant get the map on DJI to load http://www.dji.com/fly-safe/category-mc?www=v1 which seems well recommended, do you need flash?

Where else can I get a good map in the UK which shows no-fly zones?

Just a point to note about altitude angel... there are two nuclear facilities within 15 miles of where I live and neither of their no-fly-zones are shown on altitudeangel.com. While you might get a slap on the wrist for being near an airport, fly near a nuclear facility and you'll need a darn good lawyer.

I would say flying near an airport is far more dangerous than flying near a power station, and deserves a lot more than a slap on the wrist. Also, seems the Heathrow 'incident' was nothing but a plastic bag, a load of media hype that quickly died when the truth was discovered to be rather more boring. Personally Google Maps is all I need most of the time.

Our local flying club flies off one of the runways on the local airport.
