Greetings! Many people have asked if these fancy new Gimbals are really all that. Here's my answer! I'd love to hear input. Let's discuss!
This is the description from the YouTube video: Flying my DJI Inspire 1 with a GoPro Hero 3+ Silver attached (Apparatus shown at the end of the video) The Inspire's Camera view is shown after the GoPro footage. (Around 02:05 ) Take note, during this entire video I did NOT touch the Camera or Gimbal controls. This is all the Inspire doing the physics. Yes, the Gimbal and Camera shake -A lot as seen from the GoPro, but the result you see from the Inspire's Camera is silky smooth! What kind of sorcery is this?! Warning: Never attach anything to your Multirotor! They are not designed for payloads. Please don't fly like this.
When people ask me if they really need a gimbal, I show them this: Quantum of the Seas filmed withOUT a gimbal: Anthem of the Seas filmed WITH a gimbal: Notice a difference?
Thought this comparison was pretty neat: http://youtubedoubler.com/?video1=h...watch?v=CLqHXIKmJSQ&start2=30&authorName=Moo!
To Gimbal or not to Gimbal?! http://youtubedoubler.com/?video1=h...atch?v=vdqBQ07Ryms&start2=332&authorName=Moo!
Yes, the comparison when running is quite amazing! You can clearly see the camera shaking, yet the footage is smooth! What kind of sorcery is this?!
Here's a simultaneous view of NO Gimbal vs a 3-Axis Gimbal vs a 4-Axis Gimbal! http://www.youtubemultiplier.com/589d17309fd79-no-gimbal-3-axis-gimbal-4-axis-gimbal.php Pretty cool to see side-by-side-by-side!
