    I just found this, which should be awesome. I already have a discontinued gyro servo from Haven and always thought it was a good idea. Servostab should be much better than an ordinary servo with a gyro in it though, it has a magnetic core motor instead of the usual innards, so it will work very precisely - something akin to a geared brushless gimbal, only you wont need a controller board. You just need one server for any axis you like, and you can even program travel limits into it with software. I think this could be the next game changing tech in gimbal stabilization, we'll have to wait and see.
