hi guys and gals just joined up so a little but about me,i learnt to fly planes from my uncle who has been flying for many years and has his a licence for aeroplanes,i picked up flying really quick as in was flying on my own with no buddy lead within 6 weeks, after about 5 mths of aeroplanes decided on a nitro helicopter which i crashed many timesĀ which i didn't mind seeing as it was second hand when i got it.finally i bought a new kyosho caliber 30 and managed not to crash it and was doing really well with it,no 3d flying mind but wasn't bothered about that anyways.i gave up flying approx 5 yrs ago but just recently bought a 450 sized electric heli and i am getting back into the swing of things and am now waiting on a scale fuselage arriving to fit to it.looking forward to seeing many more posts on here and hope the forum really kicks off
Hi blooperuk, thanks for joining. Helicopters are hard to get into because you spend a lot of time crashing when you start out, so most people just give up because they think they can't do it. I think, as you probably learned early on, that you just have to accept that you're going to crash lot at the start, and even a bit when you're a pro, then you can just get on with being better at flying helis, just takes time.
