Has anyone actually used these new Intelligent Flight Modes?

I know I've seen plenty of video of them, but I'd like to hear some real-life feedback before taking the "leash off".

Do you mean 'new' as in the flight modes added in September, or are there new ones in a recent update?

Yeah "new" as in September. My bad for not clearing that up.

Well, I can see uses for the waypoints, but haven't used them professionally yet, as in for a job, though I would have done on one job I did before they released them. The point of interest I've used a few times to get perfect symmetry around an object while taking photos to turn into a 3D computer model. Follow me I haven't really used, other than just to try it.

The Waypoint-Mode might be a good way to plot a course, then let the Drone do it's thing while I can concentrate on using the camera while the Drone does the flying.

It's a good way to simulate a zip wire camera, where you want to fly backwards in a straight line without hitting anything through not being able to see where you are going.

Yeah, when I normally fly backwards (or have the camera turned around) it's only after I have flown around the area, and I'm confident there it nothing to hit while flying "blind".

If only I had a second controller and a *competent camera operator.

    * I say this because I've seen some of my local pals' horrible Drone videos.
