'Best Ride from Yuneec Typhoon H' by John Reid

Although not a usual video pick this is an interesting video for a number of reasons.

This 4K video is filmed with the Typhoon H over the desert and follows a dirt bike riding along an empty road. Tracking shots and long shadows during sunset always look fantastic from air and this video showcases this very well.


I found out from the YouTube comments why the video is a bit choppy, possibly because of being exported at the different frame rate than it was recorded.

This is an easy mistake to make for anyone who is new to the filming world, as DJI and Yuneec might have different default settings. To make it even more complicated there are differences between television standards. British PAL: 25fps and American NTSC: 29.97fps.

It would be great to hear from anyone who has had any flying/filming experience with the Typhoon H. There is a lot of videos on Youtube from popular drone vloggers, but I do take those reviews with reservation..since it’s hard to tell if they have been sponsored or not.
