This was my first flight with my rebuilt Tarot Iron Man 650, and the first time I have flown using the Pixhawk flight controller. It is very different from the Naza's I am use to flying. The "Loiter" flight mode is really mellow, but when I put it in "Sport" mode I got a surprise. It was very sensitive and very fast.
Nice one, there is a lot of options with pixhawk if you have the time to explore them. There are some high end companies using it. I was at a drone expo a few years ago where I talked to a sales rep from an industrial drone company selling this huge quadcopter thing for $200,000 and discovered with a bit of questioning that the flight controller was a pixhawk!
Yeah, it sure can do a lot. Very programmable. I have tried to do the auto tune function a couple of times but it has been too windy. Don't know if I will do another build using pixhawk or go back to Naza.
