Hi Jonathon, I would like to purchase a skywalker but i don't know what I have to purchase to make it work effectively. It is my intention to use the skywalker for aerial surveying. Could you help me with a list of items I have to purChase to assemble to skywalker (props, transmitter, controller, etc)
I've built a skywalker but I haven't flown it yet, which Skywalker are you thinking of getting? I thought I might try Pix Rapter as the flight controller, but have to learn about it first. Up to now I've been fying with this: http://www.feiyu-tech.com/product-en.php?id=32 - there is a method for putting waypoints in but I haven't tried that. My radio is a Futaba 8FJ, but I have heard good things about Taranis, cheaper with a huge amount of functions, but again it requires some learning. It uses open source software that can be programmed to do all kinds of things. There's this one http://www.frsky-rc.com/product/pro.php?pro_id=113 but I also think this one looks awesome: http://www.banggood.com/FrSky-Taranis-X9E-2_4GHz-ACCST-Transmitter-with-X6R-Receiver-p-987467.html
I recently saw that 3D Robotics has been advertising for sale, the skywalker airframe with 3Dr parts. Its far cheaper than the Aero-M
