I won a competition through RC Flying on Facebook and I am all smiles about it. Now that I have become quite addicted to flying my small attack helicopter around - video pending - I am starting already to wonder about purchasing something more advanced. In a nutshell it would excite me more if I could attach a camera and then get some great video footage which will help me with various projects.

My budget is limited to around £200 and I would be starting from scratch - no camera nothing.

I would want to produce good quality video preferably not to shaky - for video editing and maybe special effects.

I would appreciate any advice about buying the right tools for the job!

    Thanks :)

It's quite difficult for 200 quid. You could try this ideafly, but then you'd still need a radio and a camera.

You might get a second hand dji 450 with naza on ebay? You could start with a Hobby King Wing Cam as your camera, or a Boscam FPV camera? I know someone who might have an ardupilot quadcopter for sale, not sure how much form though and they're quite a bit of a plunge into the deep end?

Buying from the HobbyKing UK warehouse I managed to get the IFLY-4, a suitable battery and postage for £200! Still doesn't include radio or camera though :( I'm playing around with the wing cam a bit and can't really offer an opinion yet, but I can recommend the IFLY-4 to you SmileyDave, it's a decent quad platform to get started on. Not too much lift capability, but can easily manage a couple of Wing Cams or a GoPro if you ever were to get one! :)

Well above price range but this Walkera QRX 350 does look very cool, especially RTF (ready to fly) with that LCD FPV screen on the radio!

Thanks for the advice - I like the look of the IFly-4 Quad-copter . I think I need to save more money before I jump in the deep end :)
