That's very short, we have a piece of land very similar to that over here called Spurn Point. Actually, Vikings from your country sailed past here to invade and settle in my hometown of York.
The first Viking raiders were from Kattegatt, which I think is in Denmark but it might have been part of somewhere else at the time. Ragnar Lothbrok was the first Viking to come to England, from Kattagatt, and his son was the first one to come to what is now York.
