My name is Cory and my friend and I are trying to design a tilt rotor I feel like this could be the next generation of drones, a non moving base and rotors that tilt 45 degrees either direction. this would allow for more aerodynamics and a better acceleration. I would like to hear everybody's thoughts on this and what would be a good price to ballpark around for all the parts, and what parts would be best to use. I am the most worried about a flight controller. I want a good flight controller that is not very expensive and is easy to program. we are building this from scratch including the frame, which will be 3D printed with carbon fiber infused plastic so it will be stronger than normal plastic.
That looks pretty cool, did you buy one of those? You could see how good or bad that one is and improve on it?
No I didn't buy one, but I have seen a lot of videos on it and I saw some of the flaws in the design and we have a plan to fix them.
Have you looked at this flight controller: http://www.banggood.com/Upgrade-NAZ...e-10-DOF-for-Multirotor-Racing-p-1010232.html - I think that's what they have in the Eachine?
No i have not I will look in to it. Do you know if it is easy to program, because that is the only thing that im worried about, i dont think that the building part will be that hard.
Someone emailed me about this drone but i haven't personally flown it - can you tell me what is one thing you love about it, and one thing that needs to be improved if you actually have used it?
I have not used it but I do know a lot about it, the thing I love about it is that the legs rise up so the camera has a full 360 degree unblocked view. i don't know of any bad things about it because i have never used it but i think it would be a good investment.
