After the successful and busy UK Drone Show in Birmingham's NEC last December, it's not a surprise that the organisers wanted to reach out to all of the aviation enthusiasts. Unmanned aerial vehicles, aka drones, perfectly fitted into a day of aerial action and family activities. The Drone Show was only a small part of the huge event (over 100,000 public visitors in 2012). Both DJI and Yuneec were exhibiting, further showcasing their products during various flight demonstrations in the netted area of the show. The racing track was almost constantly busy with racing quads, interviews, commentators and most importantly intrigued spectators, who might have had accidentally ventured to a new show site and discovered what we all want people to know- drones are good and fun! Here's the short video from our visit: The Drone Safety Awareness Theatre was hosting talks from experts, among them were: CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), Amazon Prime Air and DJI. It would have been better to see more companies involved, but it was only an additional attraction. I am already getting excited about the next UK Drone Show in December and it looks fantastic! see what's on: http://www.ukdroneshow.com/whatson.aspx Hope to see some of you there 3th-4th of December Put it in your diary folks!
